How to Cut into 8 Pieces

Today we’ll show you how to cut using kitchen scissors. If you don’t usually use a knife, this is a must-see!
① Cut the belly side in half

Start cutting from the tail along the belly and slice the chicken vertically in half using scissors.

The bones near the neck are thick and hard to cut, so be sure to support the chicken firmly and apply pressure when using the scissors.
② Cut the back side in half

Since the inside of the chicken is hollow with the organs removed, flip it over and cut the back side in half.

As you can see, it can be cut cleanly into two halves.
③ Cut horizontally in half

Now take the vertically halved chicken and cut it horizontally in half. The chicken may be slippery from the oil, so be extra careful not to injure yourself with the scissors!
④ Finally, cut into 8 pieces

Cut each of the 4 pieces again in half to make 8 pieces. Since the amount of meat varies by part, cut based on the balance of meat rather than uniform size.

Repeat the same for the other half, and you’ll end up with 8 balanced pieces. Even without a kitchen knife, kitchen scissors alone can make the task simple. If you don’t usually use a knife, scissors are a great alternative!

Arrange it on a plate and your table instantly becomes more festive. This is sure to liven up any home party!
⑤ Save leftovers for curry

Leftover chicken can be added to curry for a delicious chicken curry. The combination of herb-infused chicken and the spices in the curry create a refined and aromatic flavor.
How to Reheat
① Use a microwave

Has your takeout chicken gone cold? You can enjoy hot, juicy chicken at home just like it’s fresh out of the oven!
Start by microwaving it for 2 to 2.5 minutes at 600 watts for a whole chicken.
② Bake in the oven

Microwaving alone will warm it up nicely, but if you want the skin to be crispy, pop it in a preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes. Using both the microwave and oven will help you achieve a juicy, freshly-cooked texture.

Rotisserie chicken brings a special touch to your usual meals. How about gathering around a delicious chicken with your loved ones this Christmas?
Using a rotisserie oven made in France, the chicken is carefully slow-roasted while excess fat is rendered away, resulting in the perfect texture. It’s seasoned with a unique blend of spices for exceptional flavor. At Farmer’s Chicken Sangenjaya, who kindly cooperated with our photo shoot, you can also enjoy sandwiches and limited-time chicken curry available only on Mondays.
