Cut in Half Lengthwise

First, use a knife to cut the papaya in half lengthwise. You’ll find small black seeds inside.
Remove the Seeds

Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds.
Add Ice Cream

Use an ice cream scooper to add a scoop of ice cream. It fits perfectly in the groove! Store-bought ice cream is totally fine. If you don’t have a scooper, a spoon will do!
Serve It Up

Decorate with mint or other garnishes, and you’ve got yourself a Hawaiian-style “Papaya Boat”! Enjoy it before the ice cream melts!
Advanced Technique – Zigzag Cut!?

Try using the other half of the papaya for a slightly more advanced cutting style.
Cut the edge of the halved papaya into a zigzag V-shape.

Fill it with small fruits and decorate to finish!
Now you’ve got a slightly fancier version of the “Papaya Boat.”
The bright orange color of the papaya makes it super photogenic. With just a little effort, you can instantly transform it into a beautiful and delicious dessert! If something like this showed up on your breakfast table, it’s sure to boost your mood for the day. Be sure to give it a try!
